Rental Agreement

1. Rental period
The standard rental period is seven (7) days beginning on the delivery date shown on your reservation and ending on the scheduled pickup date. Extensions are available in one-week increments at the rate published for your package.
2. Equipment
Equipment remains the property of St. John's Tote Rentals at all times. Customer agrees to use the equipment only for its intended purpose and to keep it at the delivery address or the destination address provided at booking.
3. Care and condition
Customer agrees to return all equipment empty, closed and reasonably clean. Equipment returned with residue, odors or contents may incur a cleaning charge.
4. Loss or damage
Replacement charges may apply for equipment that is missing or unusable at pickup. Charges are assessed per item at the replacement rates maintained by St. John's Tote Rentals and will be disclosed before any charge is made.
5. Delivery and pickup
Customer is responsible for providing accurate address and access information, including any gate or community codes. If an approved unattended drop location is selected, risk of loss passes to Customer at the time of delivery.
6. Date changes and cancellation
One complimentary delivery or pickup date change is permitted when requested at least 48 hours in advance, subject to availability. Cancellation terms will be finalized before launch.
7. Payment
Reservation totals are charged at the time of booking. Extension charges are processed at the time the extension is confirmed. Card details are handled by our payment processor; St. John's Tote Rentals does not store card numbers.
8. Limitation of liability
To be reviewed by counsel prior to launch. This section will describe the limits of the company's liability for the contents placed in rented equipment.
